I just stumbled upon this movie and gave it a quick watch and I thought this wouldn't be the best film and I would just end up clicking off it after 20 minutes, but it was a great spin on a superhero film. the film also shares a lot of similarities to Kingsman with rather young people being chosen to be in a secret organisation and save the world.
in regards to the characters i think that they were unique and good as each of them had a rather good story arch and development. Sam goes from being a rebellious princess who hates the monarchy to being a understanding mature person who wants change but wants it to be given a choice and not enforced.
the other characters had great stories as well and the film sets up a sequel at the end.
and lastly for a Disney movie this was great as it didn't shell out to the SJWs as it had a diverse set of character but they weren't there because of what nationality they were or their stance on politics.
Well done Disney and I hope that you can do better with the next installation since this was not the best but was a solid ground for a new IP and Franchise.
